WOW What – a – Coach!!

CFDM would like to hear what it is that makes your coach so GREAT.

If you saw the post from Dr. BOB on yesterday’s WOD blog, he talks about how CFDM coaches made him feel so welcome when he was here at CFDM.

So let’s talk about what it is that makes QUENTIN, AMY, CHERYL, JAMES, & KELLI such great coaches.

Overhead Squat – One Rep Max

Wod-

In 3:00 minutes, complete as many reps as possible of:

Row 20 calories, damper 5
30 Wall ball shots, 20#/14#
20 Toes-to-bar
30 Jumping Lunges
20 Sumo deadlift high pull, 105#/70#
30 Burpees
20 Push press, 135#/95#
100′ Bear Crawl

Rest 1:00, then complete as many reps as possible of the same chipper in 6:00

 TASTEY TUESDAY…Guidelines

1) The person at the end of the post who’s name is called out, must submit a recipe to mtbrown116@yahoo.comby the following Sunday.

2) There is absolutely no parameters on how “healthy” the recipe is…However since we are a gym that “forges elite fitness” it is encouraged to error on the side of healthy

3) Commentary is much appreciated for all recipes

This Week’s Recipe is from Kelly Heffron

Black Bean Dip

Mix Together the following and refrigerate overnight.

1 can shoepeg corn, rinsed

2 cans black beans, rinsed

3 tomatoes, diced

1/2 C. cilantro, chopped

1/2 red onion, chopped

6 T. olive oil

6 T. lime juice

1 1/2 tsp. cumin

garlic to taste

 This is better after being refrigerated overnight.  I have used this as a relish on grilled chicken, as salsa on chicken or beef tacos, and as filling in a romaine lettuce wrap.  And, of course, it’s great with chips.
