How do you only choose 5!?!
I am happy to see I have been to two of the places Mike listed:
Belize (where the blue hole is)
Sistine Chapel (jaw dropping)
Some on the list:
Backpack around Spain
New Zealand and Australia…and might as well stop in fiji on thw way
Thailand
Peru
Nebraska City….only kidding
Roatan
Also in no particular order:
1. L’Alpe D’Huez (France) because I’m a biking geek and this is one of the toughest
2. Galway & Derry Ireland (already been to Dublin and loved it)
3. Table Mountain outside Capetown South Africa (my wife visited last year)
4. Anywhere in New Zealand
5. Great Barrier Reef off Australia – came close when we visited Brisbane a few years ago but didn’t make it out
Just for good measure, I’ll throw in #6 – Rio de Janeiro
1. Jerusalem
2. Belize (didn’t even know about the Blue hole! Friend of mine travels there frequently and says its a must!)
3. Ethiopia & Kenya
4. Banff
5. El Giza, Egypt (to see the Great Pyramid of Giza)
1. Yankee Stadium with my family watching the Yankees beat the Red Sox.
2. Fenway Park with my family watching the Yankees beat the Red Sox.
3. Watching my kids play baseball/softball (high school, college, pro – doesn’t matter).
4. St. Olaf College watching one or all of my children graduate. Alternative option – Norte Dame.
5. Delivery room where my first grand child will be born.
How could I NOT second #4 on the list….I’ve already started gearing Carter up for the multi-million dollar science and math complex they built. We sit and look at the catalog together…brainstorm early – I’m hoping it’s effective! UM YA YA!
