Wow – Q grinding out the HSPUs thought he might put a hole in the wall the first time up. It is great to see a group of people work as hard as this group of athletes I miss not coming in Monday mornings – just happy to here and see you all tomorrow.

I hate HSPU, I tried to get my monthly goal of 10 at the start but failed, I got 8 and then spent the next 7 or 8 minutes doing 1 or 2 at a time ughh

bring it bitch. I could get use to this kicking your ass thing but as we all know it was a one day thing! I’m still enjoying it! Sad thing is I was done with pull-ups and most of my kettlebell swings before you finished HSPU and you almost caught me.
I also share the sentiment of the group when it comes to burpees After seeing my pathetic looking ones on the video yesterday, I spent some time watching videos of Bobby, Brian, and people on CF website do them. I think I improved on them…at least for the first 25 or so – after that, form and speed went way out the window!!
I’ve also decided that Cheryl and Shelley are no longer allowed to go on vacation. Last time my mom did we had Filthy Fifty and McGhee in the same week. Now Cheryl’s gone and we get MUs/wall balls and this WOD back to back Nice work everyone on 2 tough ones!! Brian, you did kick butt today, great job.

I am being brutally honest. Mike Brown does not do burpees or HSPU with any sort of grace or elegance!
However May 1st the “Congo Line” is going to be the first WOD of the month. Keywords-Kettlebell, Barbell, Sanbag, Tire, Barbell, PAIN PAIN PAIN!
Just for the record, Burpees in CA aren’t any more fun than in DSM! I did the WOD, replacing the pull ups with pushups. 3 pillows under my head for assisted push ups .
The guy who owns CFSanMateo is a huge major accomplished runner, so I’m looking forward to going there tomorrow morning as you all know how much I love to run.
