As usual, I got home and mulled over what I SHOULD have done in the workout. I’ve decided its time to graduate from the green band on the pull-ups, and after watching Jaime bust her ass in real push-ups, its probably time to think about doing real ones, at least part of the time.
I think it took me around 20 minutes, but I can’t remember the time exactly.
20 lb KB…probably should have done 26.

Good work everyone! Jamie kick-ass job on pull-ups today. It was just 50 days ago when she couldn’t even do 1 pull-up, now she can pop off 50, thats a 1 pull-up a day ratio. Awesome work!
300 WOD: 17:01 Rx’d
25:15 as rx’d. Man I thought I did better than that but the clock doesn’t lie. After popping off 21 straight pullups in the 1st bout, I thought the ending would be all right but at the end I couldn’t do more than 2 or 3 without stopping. It takes a long time to get to 25 doing that. Have a great weekend every one. I think I may have to become a Sat morning regular; it was a great time.

Someday, I’ll graduate to “Big Boy” status and actually finish a work-out to Rx standards. Until then, perhaps fat, drunk, and stupid IS a way to go through life.

That’s right, all 50 pullups and 50 real pushups! If someone would have told me at the start of the year that I would be able to do the 300 wod as rxd w all 50 pullups by the end of February, I would have prob bet at least 5000 bucks against me
That was tough. Got done around 12:00 but had to take a 30 second break in the middle to turn the music back on. A lot better time than when I did it a year ago. Not a log of heavy leg exercises so that is good for me.
I smell a challenge
If only I could be like Jaime!!! You’re an inspiration. I will hopefully get there someday. I suppose that’s a responsibility I have for being Mike’s wife-haha!
20:?? can’t remember the time. Blue band pullups and 20lb KB. I tried the 26 but it wasn’t going to work out so well. I did do real pushups though

I highly encourage you all to get involved with HyVee tri in some way! It’ a great race and wonderful way to support the active community here in Iowa. I hope to improve my top 4 age group finish this year with CF mixed in with my training! Very excited! Oh and of course sporting CFDes Moines gear….hey….look good, feel good, do good, right!? Wouldn’t that be sweet if there were a bunch of us out there sporting CF gear!!!??? Hope to see you all there!!!!

“I am not Spartacus!” but i did finish at 22:03 – as *rxd (* last fifteen pull ups were sad and needed the pink band… pretty much says it all.)
By the way – Josh looks fun – see you tonight 5:30 – can’t wait.
